Alternatives to raingear? 2 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
When waterproofs aren't enough do people resort to other clothing instead? For example I use a wetsuit under my waterproofs if I'm checking out lakes or anything with deep water.

I have an all in one mudsuit made by Ocean. 770g PVC with gloves, knee pads and studded safety boots. Also have a surface drysuit with attached Century 2000 boots.

Too muddy? Wear wellies. Too deep? Wear waders. Want more? Get sealed up in a mudsuit and have fun!

770g, that's pretty heavy duty. I also have a Storm surface dry suit but have never used it for mud, cos it's not the most inconspicuous item of clothing! *lol*
